Can a spark plug wire get loose over time (losing contact with the spark plug or ignition coil) and cause severe ignition problems which will go away without the mechanic replacing them, just by reattaching them? I’m asking because after the mechanic replaced the ignition coil on my FIAT Punto Evo the problem was gone.
Hi. Looking for some advice for my Punto Evo Sporting 2010 1.4 petrol. Couple of months back replaced the starter motor (start/stop type) and earth strap and she ran fine. Couple of wks back she started taking 2 or 3 attempts to start so got her serviced and replaced the Spark Plugs. Still no change and last 48hrs she won't start just cranks. Messages. 745. Points. 144. May 7, 2014. #2. Most likely a clutch problem. The clutch release bearing may have gone through the clutch springs which can explain why you clutch pedal is light. But check to see if the cable is doing its work, i.e. when you press the clutch the clutch release mechanism on the top of the gearbox is activated.

Don't forget to check for shorts to ground or between lines on the CAN bus. Between lins could rad as low as 60 ohms depending on the termination arrangement. less than 50 ohms A toB is a problem.
